Rideshare Week is October 4-8 iCommute

Rideshare Week will be held October 4-8, 2010. Rideshare Week is a nationally recognized event held to promote alternative commute choices, including carpooling, vanpooling, taking public transportation, walking, teleworking, or bicycling to work. 

Last year for Rideshare Week, SANDAG launched the new iCommute program and Web site and challenged commuters to try to replace their solo commute with a cheaper, less stressful, and more environmentally friendly alternative. We gave away more than $5,000 in prizes to commuters who took the challenge. If your company or agency would like to participate in this year’s Rideshare Week activities or would be interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact the iCommute team at iCommute@sandag.org.
