Gas prices are up - iCommute can help iCommute

As the regional commuter assistance program, iCommute has the tools that can help you save money at the gas pump:

RideMatcher, our free online ridematching tool, is a simple, easy, and secure way to find a rideshare partner 24/7 for everything from commuting via carpools, vanpools, SchoolPools, and biking, to one-time special events like ballgames and concerts.

By carpooling or vanpooling, you can share driving costs and avoid traffic as you cruise along in carpool lanes or the I-15 Express Lanes, which carpoolers/vanpoolers can use for free.

By ridesharing, you’ll save money, time, and wear and tear on your car.

Carpooling also is a fast and easy way to reduce your commuting costs by 50 percent or more.

With vanpooling, you can save even more! Qualified vanpools can receive a $400 monthly subsidy from iCommute.

Transit is another option to help you save money. iCommute has a free transit trip planner to help you figure out the best route. It also includes schedule and fare information.

For more information on fares, schedules and routes, visit Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) or North County Transit District (NCTD).

Track the savings to your wallet and the environment with our TripTracker tool. The more you log your trips, the more your savings will add up.
