More sand coming to a beach near you

SANDAG

The 2012 Regional Beach Sand Project kicks off this summer, bringing more than a million cubic yards of clean, high quality sand to the region’s eroded shoreline.

Sand replenishment is currently scheduled to take place from Imperial Beach to Oceanside at the following locations:

Imperial Beach
Solana Beach
Cardiff
Moonlight Beach
Batiquitos Beach
South Carlsbad
North Carlsbad
Oceanside
