Rideshare Week is October 1-5 RideLink

Rideshare Week 2007 is a national celebration designed to increase awareness about the alternatives to solo commuting. Every day, thousands of San Diego commuters already take advantage of the opportunity to vanpool, carpool, bicycle, walk or ride public transportation such as the bus, Trolley, or COASTER to work.

SANDAG will celebrate Rideshare Week by inviting all San Diegans to tell us how they commute to work or school. Please take our survey starting October 1 and you could win valuable prizes!

Celebrate efficient use of our highways by participating in some form of alternative transportation during Rideshare Week. You may be surprised by how much money you save by carpooling, vanpooling, or using transit just a few days a week.

RideLink Account Executives are available to work directly with employers, educating them on the commuter benefits that they can offer employees. RideLink continues to encourage employers to offer alternatives to driving alone by providing employees transportation incentives. There are currently 580 vans enrolled in the RideLink vanpool program!
