Join SANDAG in creating an ambitious regional plan

SANDAG will hold a workshop this month with the goal of getting as many people and organizations as possible involved in helping plan the region’s future.

SANDAG has begun the work of creating the first-ever combined regional plan for San Diego County, an ambitious program to marry the Regional Comprehensive Plan and the Regional Transportation Plan.

All stakeholders in the community are invited to the October 19 public workshop, where they will have the chance to discuss and provide input on important quality of life issues facing the San Diego region, including housing affordability, transportation issues, public health, economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental sustainability.

Lunch will be provided at the workshop, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Caltrans District 11 Headquarters, Garcia Room, 4050 Taylor Street, San Diego.

Please RSVP to Paula Zamudio, SANDAG community outreach coordinator, at paula.zamudio@sandag.org, (619) 595-5610, or the SANDAGRegion Facebook page event section.

Take the COASTER, Trolley, or bus to the Old Town Transit Center and cross Taylor Street to Caltrans’ offices. Limited parking also is available.
