Contracts and Procurement Analyst

Role The Contracts and Procurement Analyst will support the acquisition of equipment, materials, and professional services through the preparation of solicitation and contracting documents. The Contracts and Procurement Analyst will serve as a resource to project managers and will assist with various procurement activities and services in support of the agency’s contracting needs. Manager of Public Information and Media

Role The Manager of Public Information and Media will plan, supervise, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the Public Information, Editorial, and Visual Communications teams. This position will coordinate communications, public information, social media strategies, programs, projects, and activities with other departments, the Board of Directors, Policy Advisory Committees, member agencies, outside organizations, stakeholders, and the public. Principal Management Internal Auditor

Role Reporting to the Independent Performance Auditor, the Principal Management Internal Auditor performs and coordinates administrative, financial, operational, and management audits and reviews of SANDAG activities and programs. This position will provide sound professional recommendations to executive management for consideration in formulating policies and procedures. Senior Legal Counsel

Role As a member of the four person Office of General Counsel, the Senior Legal Counsel will serve as a technical resource to agency executives and project managers and will support various programs, projects, and services by conducting research and preparing resolutions, memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents, providing legal guidance related to agency contracting and procurement processes, assisting with litigation, overseeing the work of outside counsel, providing legal guidance and opinions to various committees and working groups, and providing assistance to the General Counsel. Examples of key projects include: 2021 Regional Plan Update; SR-11/Otay Mesa East Border Crossing; Central Mobility Hub; Mid-Coast; Bus Stopover Facility; Right of Way assistance on bike and LOSSAN projects. Technology Program Manager

This position will manage and oversee the ARJIS applications, coordinate project teams, and provide staff support to the Business Working Group, Mobile Working Group, Public Safety Committee and Chiefs & Sheriff's Management Committee. This position also will consult with ARJIS members and other users to develop regional technical solutions that support the ARJIS strategic plan, create detailed project plans and proposals, develop project risk assessments and user requirements, determine technical feasibility, and implement new public safety applications.
