Clean Air Day 2026 Sweepstakes

SANDAG is seeking bike companies interested in serving as in-kind sponsor for the naming rights of the annual Clean Air Day Sweepstakes, with the prize drawing occurring in October 2026.

Please note that this is a limited-term sponsorship, with obligations being fulfilled between September and October 2026.

There is only one (1) sponsorship available for this opportunity. Applications will be evaluated based on criteria and alignment with SANDAG Board Policy 5.  The application deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026.  

  • Provide one e-bike or up to three standard bikes
  • Coordinate prize redemption directly with the sweepstakes winner(s)
  • Comply with SANDAG Board Policy No. 005
  • Exclusive naming rights of the 2026 Clean Air Day Sweepstakes
  • Logo on the 2026 Clean Air Day flyer
  • Logo or mention in two (2) social media posts (50,000+ total followers)
  • Mention in one (1) SANDAG Newsletter article (5,000+ subscribers)
  • Mention and logo on SANDAG Clean Air Day (19,166 web page visits per year)

FY 2027 Bike Maintenance Quick Checks

SANDAG is seeking bike shops interested in serving as annual in-kind sponsors to provide bike maintenance quick checks (BMQCs), as part of SANDAG's Sustainable Transportation Services program.

BMQCs are scheduled by SANDAG as either stand-alone events for businesses and schools or in conjunction with public SANDAG bike classes, group bike rides, and other outreach events.

Please note that there are limited sponsorships available per subregion. Sponsorship agreements are executed on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications will remain open until all spots are filled. If a service area is already covered by a bike shop, other applicants in that area may be given the opportunity to provide services to a different area within San Diego County.

  • Host up to three, one-hour events to provide bike maintenance quick checks for up to 12 bicycles per event, which include the following services:
    • Brake and gear adjustments
    • Chain checks and lubrication
    • Tire checks and inflation
    • Nuts and bolts checks
    • Seat height adjustments
  • Attend a mandatory orientation with the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition prior to the start of the BMQC services
  • Travel from bike shop location to event locations in San Diego County
  • Comply with SANDAG Board Policy No. 005
  • Logo on two SANDAG.org web pages:
  • Logo on bike class flyers
  • Logo on bike class presentations (16 total classes, more than 600 annual attendees)
  • Logo or mention in emails to event attendees
  • Business marketing/promotion to event attendees already interested in biking; the opportunity to hand out business cards/coupons
