Planning and building the San Diego region’s transportation system is one of our most visible and important jobs at SANDAG.
We’re responsible for making sure people and goods travel efficiently around the region, whether it’s for work, school, shopping, or visiting friends and families.
We work with local, state, and federal agencies to create transportation projects that reduce traffic congestion along our busiest corridors, save commuters countless hours, reduce gashouse emissions, and improve the overall quality of life in our region.
